Gynecomasty

In the case of men who develop abnormal breast size there are a number of hormonal reasons:

— one reason in young men can be the affect during puberty;
—in older men a larger breast can be caused by the reduction in testosterone levels.

The procedure for reduction of the breast is the removal of the glandular and fat tissue. Before surgery a general examination is made to determine the hormonal levels as well as a local examination to ascertain whether there is any evidence of carciginous hypertrophy.
